See the snow angel?![]() the mud of our sorrows ![]() | This weekend has been one of large feats. MLK would have been proud. Heather (my future sister!!!!!!) and I successfully got stuck in the snow and mud in a matter of one weekend. We learned how to put chains on tires in dire situations--such as when you are surrounded by train-like winds, pelting snowballs that leave welts the size of cow patellas, and flaming trucks/cars/landrovers flying off of the road in all directions (especially in directions that pose a threat to you). Oh, i nearly forgot to mention that we even walked on a FROZEN LAKE! |

Today
I got to pet a bunny today. It was afraid of me at first, but I held it and gave it some water. I also played with fire, drove across the state, and failed to find my gloves.
In other news, last time I checked, my car had ample oil, antifreeze, winshield washer fluid, and brake fluid. I hope there is enough tranny oil in there now. The gear shift used to get hot until my dad fed the car more. By the way, I need to come up with a name for the car since it is pretty much awesome. I am open to suggestions (if they are good).

It's Greek you see!
I was amazed to learn from one of my professors (who happens to be Greek) that the plural of octopus is really octopuses! It's Greek! Looks like the last influences of the Roman empire are finally slipping away into the depths of old Saturn's realm. Man, i've been reading too much about the planets lately.
In other news; I made a new friend today. His name is Mike. I was reading at Café Ladro in Freemont this evening, and there were some pretty...uh, well, it is Freemont afterall....people. Mike was really awesome, and we talked about psychology, Spokane, teachers, and Sedro Wooley,(I guess that's where the wooley people belong; coincidentally, Mike pointed out his beard). Mike lives in the group home over there and seems to like it pretty well. While we were talking, accross the street, Benny was yelling about the monsters. Mike shouted something back about the Jettsons or something. I guess Mike knows Benny a little bit. It was really cool to talk to Mike, and I hope to go back and find him again sometime.
Oh, i'm working on getting the pictures of fire hazards up, but blogger is being silly. These are fire hazards that I either found naturally around my apartment or ones that I....somebody...staged.

Oh, and two specifically for Joel's last comment:

A NEW THING!
Man, sorry dudes and dudettes, my posting habits are really just not happening. BUT, i updated my profile--I added my newfound hobby of creating fire hazards. Watch out Scotland! You never know when I'm going to be.....Laying on the floor in a hallway, leaving traces of magnesium, or placing the drapery right next to the heat register! hahahaha. I remember the times last year in the dorm when I would smile sweetly a while savoring the reality of the large, obstructive road cone sitting in the hallways as the fire marshalls walked past my room. Perhaps I will post pictures of fire-hazards in the days to come. For now, i must make some food for myself in the KITCHEN, next to the STOVE and MICROWAVE. Ooo, that reminds me, our smoke detector is haning from the ceiling by its tendons, perhaps i should strip them so that there is bare wire exposed. Oh, the irony...

I wonder if someone will read this; It's been quite some time you know
First of all, I am astonished. Did you see the last comment on my last post? Wow. My blog has been spammed. If it weren't somebody's plot for getting ahead in the game of revenue, it would be a kinda cool comment.
Pictures are nice, would you like to see some pictures? I got a digital camera, so you can see some of my pictures. I like pictures. Lets see if I have enough 1337 skillzors to manipulate HTML again; it's been so long. K, ready, GO!
grr, i can't seem to remember how to upload my picture to where i want it. yes, i know...blogger uploads them for me now.

New clothes
We (the --dangit! I JUST LOST AGAIN!--phylactery club) went to the goodwill outlet the other day and got 53 pounds or so of clothes. Awesome, and at that poundage, it was only 79 cents a pound! whoo-hoo

The traveler
Did you know that China is at the other end of I-90? I found out the hard way when I spaced going north on I-5. I also found a neato park with neat toys right by lake union where it goes from Eastlake to Westlake----ish.

Since then
Since then, I have seen Jacob at SPU, I applied to be a Peer Advisor in the residence halls for next year, I learned the basic 8 steps of Lindy Hop, ate golden grahms, and stepped in doggy poo. What a life, what a life...

Merry Christmas
It finally snowed here this morning. Wonderful stuff, snow. Merry Christmas, as Joel pointed out, and Robb already learned, Christmas is free today.

I hate this
I'm tired of Blogging. This is stupid. My car done broke now, so i'm living at UCU (fe-house) 'till Friday. Apparently the whole thing about going home Sunday was one of those joke-things. Looks like it's going to be Friday or maybe even Sat. Poor Benjamin. I hope he's making friends with Russ the mechanic. On second though, i hope he's not, because that would distract Russ, and i'd probably never make it home. I bet that Russ is actually just sitting there, laughing at the car. GAH!

Here I am
I'm sitting in the phone closet on the thrid floor of UCU (man-house). I'm bored. I'm finally free and in Seattle. All of the people I tried to track down are either not there or otherwise occupied. so, here I am, sitting in a closet, posting to my blog. Sad, sad, sad.

Haiku
I wrote one at a Christmas party last night:
Candle light so bright
A Christmas tree standing near
fate and time combine

Because
Someone once told me that I should post a whole bunch.
I don't know what I think about that.

Huzzah
Finally, after many long weeks of anguish and strife, Apple has furnished me with a new computer.
I have wonderful news! I am connected to the Wireless network at SPU. I am connected to the world without a stinking cord!!!!! It took me about an hour to figure it out, time i should have spent on my scholarship application. Now, i have ten minutes before class. I'm tired of talking to you, k-bye.

Ouch
As I was walking back from playing tennis today, I got stung with nettles. That was pretty exciting since it was my first time. School is all about new experiences that make you stroger and build charater. I got some baking soda from my friend Kelly, it doesn't help a whole lot, but it looks impressive.
