I do not endorse the previous comment

I wouldn't want to get a $500 rebate for Abercrombie and Fitch anyway. Ugh.
Maybe I should type out my study guide for History and systems on my blog. That would sure show blog spammers. HA! Take that you nasty fiend--I will smite you with Operant Conditioning *PooF*

Tea

I'm having some orange spice tea in the commuter lounge at SPU. I like how I live a block away from campus and I can still classify as a commuter. the water is taking forever to boil! I can hear the effect that the hotplate is having on the water, and so can everyone else in the place. It's going cchskhshchkshchshhhhhccckckkchshshsh. Ok, i give up. I'm going to pour the water even if it isn't boiling.
Ow! HoT! Ok, ouch. Burning thumb. I didn't want to use the dinky mugs, so I put it in a glass that doesn't have very good insulation. ouch. Hot.

Ooo, either I am really tired, really bored, or really ...nope, just tired. Wow. Ok, so. I think maybe i'm tired. I can't believe i just took a picture of my user stats. Maybe next time i will take a picture of my homework.
Everyone wants to read about:

So much for studying

I went to Kinnear Park the other day to study with some friends. There was a guy there that was really cool. First, he had a dog that was nice. (it was even alive and running around). When he (the dude, and consequently his dog)was leaving, i made some sort of friendly gesture, and he stopped to talk for a bit. He started telling us that there are two bald eagles nesting somewhere in the area, which was cool because my friend Kyle (who was also at the park) and I had just been discussing the several bald eagle sightings we had had in the recent past.
Anyway, I was particularly impressed when the guy said that we should beware, as bald eagles have a tendancy to swoop down on unsuspecting students. Man, that guy was cool.

Have you seen these guys?

The Fremont people were moved down the road recently because they are going to do something with the bridge. Since then, I don't think anyone had dressed them up...UNITIL NOW! Kelly and I, finished with finals, were looking for trouble to wash away the angst of the quarter. We decided to make history by being the first to adorn these fine people in their new environment.
The other day, my friend Søren and I were sitting in for the statue at the old site when someone drove by and yelled out of her window, "this is why I live in Fremont."

The things we do

I wonder what homework I was supposed to be doing this time. Heather is pretty cool. Isn't that the most awesome giraffe head you've ever seen? I MADE IT BY MYSELF!!! That's right, I was a giraffe for Halloween, but that is another story...

Get your head out of the clouds!

The Adventures of Heather and Shelley

See the snow angel?

the mud of our sorrows
This weekend has been one of large feats. MLK would have been proud. Heather (my future sister!!!!!!) and I successfully got stuck in the snow and mud in a matter of one weekend.
We learned how to put chains on tires in dire situations--such as when you are surrounded by train-like winds, pelting snowballs that leave welts the size of cow patellas, and flaming trucks/cars/landrovers flying off of the road in all directions (especially in directions that pose a threat to you).

Oh, i nearly forgot to mention that we even walked on a FROZEN LAKE!

Today

I got to pet a bunny today. It was afraid of me at first, but I held it and gave it some water. I also played with fire, drove across the state, and failed to find my gloves.
In other news, last time I checked, my car had ample oil, antifreeze, winshield washer fluid, and brake fluid. I hope there is enough tranny oil in there now. The gear shift used to get hot until my dad fed the car more. By the way, I need to come up with a name for the car since it is pretty much awesome. I am open to suggestions (if they are good).
