The Fremont people were moved down the road recently because they are going to do something with the bridge. Since then, I don't think anyone had dressed them up...UNITIL NOW! Kelly and I, finished with finals, were looking for trouble to wash away the angst of the quarter. We decided to make history by being the first to adorn these fine people in their new environment.
The other day, my friend Søren and I were sitting in for the statue at the old site when someone drove by and yelled out of her window, "this is why I live in Fremont."

I miss the artsy kitsch of Fremont. We have a Fremont down here, but it's just another nondescript sector of the megapolis. I didn't even know it was there until someone pointed it out to me in earnest.
